Abusive Security Forces in Kenya
In Kenya, the abuse of power is quite common. From the government to police, bribery, abuse and falsely imprisonment is seen in a range of situations, not based on gender, religion, or any other societal divisions. There are also a few severe cases where protesters have been killed without a worry about consequences, and the misusage of control is starting to get out of hand. One of the contemporary issues, in March, involved protestants being beaten up and killed by Kenyan police force as they used tear gas to blind the crowds and tore them apart after using physical violence. This is a major violation of human rights and authorities need to take charge and question as to why this kind of defiance was shown by the police, the protection of Kenya, and how come no one aided the protestors.
