Access to quality education, healthcare, and employment opportunities further defines the chasm between the slums and affluent neighbourhoods. Children growing up in luxury homes often attend prestigious schools with ample resources and opportunities, while those in slums may have limited access to quality education, prolonging cycles of poverty. Essentially, the contradiction between daily life in slums and luxury homes is a poignant reflection of the socio-economic disparities prevalent in Mumbai. While the affluent enjoy a life of abundance and comfort, the residents of slums navigate a world marked by challenges and resilience.
